I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California LCS21892 and Oregon L12444) who works with adults and teens who are interested in improving their relationships, understanding themselves better, and resolving destructive patterns in their lives. I have been in private practice since 2005.
In addition, I serve as supervising faculty at The Wright Institute, The Psychotherapy Institute, Women's Therapy Center, and California Institute of Integral Studies.
I received a Bachelor of the Arts degree from The Evergreen State College in 1993, and a Masters of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work in 2000. I completed the two-year post-graduate training program in psychodynamic psychotherapy from The Psychotherapy Institute in 2007. I also completed TPI's Supervision Study Program in 2015, and offer consultation to therapists in private practice and agency settings who are interested in more fully integrating a psychodynamic approach.
I am a member of National Association of Social Workers, The Psychotherapy Institute, World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology, The Women's Therapy Center, and a community member of The Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California. I am licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
